Did you know???

After granting a 24-hour stay on the execution of the unborn, President Obama delivered today on his promise of taxpayer-funded promotion of abortion. This afternoon, the new administration inked the order overturning the "Mexico City policy" and unleashing millions of federal dollars to international abortion groups. Of course, it was no accident that the new president postponed the act until the last possible minute on Friday, knowing the repeal would be buried in the weekend headlines. Issuing it now means that even the presidential blackberry will get more media coverage than his international abortion bailout. The end of "Mexico City" is nothing less than a tragedy for the world's poor. For more on this and other events of this week, watch the video I've recorded which can be seen at frcblog.com

How could he eliminate torture for terrorists while in the same breath demanding that we export the torture of the unborn?

Chocolate

For the longest time, I thought I was crazy, but I could promise you that I absolutely think that chocolate makes me feel better! Sometime, I feel headachy-tired, and really crummy. Like the other day, I felt that way, so I took some Tylenol--I felt a bit better. After a while, I thought, maybe I should try chocolate, and I felt a whole lot better--it cured me!:)

I have shared this "secret" with Bob before, but now I am sharing with you all. I really thought I was so weird that chocolate made me feel better, but now I know it is ligit. (too ligit to quit!) So, I will reach for chocolate before Tylenol!

Chicken or baby Jesus?

Yesterday, I was making supper, and I was putting a whole chicken into a dutch oven. Tayva looked over at me and said, "Mom, are you making baby Jesus?" I quickly explained that I was making a chicken, and not baby Jesus!

Toothpicks

I commented this on my SIL's blog:

I TOTALLY lost my brain, and dumped the toothpick holder into the dishwasher--thinking it was a cup to load in the dishwasher. Toothpicks everywhere!! Right away, I said, "Hey Tayva, you wanna pick up some toothpicks??" She had a blast:) (of course, I helped)
