These are a sampling of the questions Tayva has these days. I marvel at how she thinks of these questions on her own....

Update

Siri had her spell of being sick and throwing up on Monday night, and last night Bob was throwing up and getting dizzy.

SICKNESS...GO AWAY!!!!!!!

I am just waiting for my turn to be sick! What a weird week. Being sick and snowed in.

I don't have much else to say tonight...I'm going to bed. I've had a loooooong couple nights.

Well, I spent New Year's Eve comforting Tayva as she threw up over and over and over again. She threw up every half-hour to hour from 2:30 a.m. until around 3 p.m. the following day. It was terrible. She handled it really well and was such a trooper!! She is doing MUCH better now and is back to normal.

I suppose I should tell you about our new pet... Well, Bob's office administrator, Kendra, talked to Bob and I one day about getting Tayva a fish for Christmas. She asked if it would be ok with us. I told her, "I am a little nervous (because I have never owned a fish before--and I am not really a "pet" person), but I know that Tayva would LOVE it, so we'll do it." So, Kendra brought the fish over several days ago. She brought the bowl, the rocks, the food--everything. She made it so easy. Tayva LOVED it!!! She was so excited. We were making a cake in the easy-bake oven, and she had to move the fish bowl be her side, so the fish was near her. She named the fish "Nemo". That night, I put her to bed, and about 15 minutes later, she said, "mommy.....mommy...MOMMY...." So I went upstairs, and she asked me, "When I get up in the morning, will my fish still be here?" It was SO cute!! She got up the next morning and said "Good morning" to it.
The next couple days were good, then one day we went to feed the fish, and I noticed that it wasn't looking so well....to make a long story short, Nemo died!!! So, today we had to tell Tayva. She took it SOO well. It probably helped her accept it because Bob and I were giggling a bit as we told her, because we were in such disbelief that we killed the fish in like 3 days!!!! I wondered, "how can I keep a household running, raise two children, but not keep a fish alive??"
We told Tayva that we will buy another fish, and she can come with to pick out the next one. I gotta figure out something....I don't want to keep killing fish!!

Now I know why I am not much of a "pet" person....I can't keep them alive. HA!

RIP poor Nemo. You were such a good pet. You were like one of the family. We will miss you....

It is officially 13 minutes into the new year. We have been doing so many fun things around the house lately, I can't wait to download my pics and show you. Oh, and we got a new pet--you just have to wait and see...

The picture in my header is how Siri looked after her and Tayva were in Tayva's room going through the "dress-up" bin. I just LOVE to see the girls after they are all dressed up. They do that AT LEAST once a day. Tayva changes outfits (from butterfly to princess to kitty) 3 times a day sometimes!! It puts a genuine smile on my face to see the girls dress-up and twirl like princesses!! I LOVE IT!!! The best thing I did was compile all their dress-up clothes, shoes, jewelry,sunglasses, purses etc. and put them all in a bin, and let them have at it.
