Today was Ag Day at the community center in the city next-door. So, I took the girls and we met my sister-in-law and Tayva and Siri's cousins. They had SO much fun! They got to see a sheep shearing, pet lots of animals (chickens, rabbits, goats, sheep and lamb, donkey, cows, horses, llama--we didn't pet the llama :), chicks, ducks), and watched a puppet show. Tayva and Siri had so much fun. The chicks were the highlight for the kids because they could hold them. Tayva dove right in--she stuck her hands in the warmer, and grabbed one, she showed it to Siri so she could pet it too. I think Tayva held 20 different chicks over the course of our visit. Siri loved the animals and petting them just as much as Tayva.
Now the only problem is explaining to Tayva why we don't have all these animals at our house. She so badly wants some pet animals--she would love to live on a farm!

Her birthday is coming up. You could get her a chick!
And if you got her the right kind of chick, you could have fresh eggs as well!
