Ok, I absolutely LOVE this class. I have already lost 13 lbs. and 5 inches in my waist!!! Even better, is that I feel GREAT!!!!! I used to get stomach cramps a lot in the middle of the night, and since I have been in Transitions, I have not had them once.....NOT ONCE!!!!! I have more energy too. The healthy lifestyle changes have been absolutely fabulous.
My sister-in-law and mom are doing the class with me, and it has been so fun to do it together. They are doing awesome too and seeing incredible results.
One of my favorite things about this class is that it is SUSTAINABLE!!! I feel like I could do this for the long-haul. I don't feel like I am depriving myself (because I am not). I am just tickled about my success and how good I feel. I love having family members right along side of me reaching their goals and experiencing success too!
LOVE IT!!!!

Summer!
Wow, I have LOVED the past few days when the weather has been nice. We have spent most of the days outside playing. Today was rainy, and now I lay in bed, listening to the sound of the rain as I type this....ahhh.....so relaxing.
Many of you have asked how my Transitions class is going.....WONDERFUL!!! I love it!! I feel so great, really I do!!!! I feel like I have a grasp on eating healthy and really understanding how to do it. Before, I had the head knowledge, but didn't have the know-how. In this class, they spoon-feed you until you are ready to take steps on your own. They give you recipes, information, journals. It is awesome. Last week we had our weigh-in and had measurements done. For now, you will just have to wait and see how I did at the very end....I will leave you in suspense. It is a 12 week class, and this week is week 6--so you have to wait 6 more weeks.
Tayva and Siri are doing great. Tayva is going to take some art classes and tennis lessons this summer. Siri will be her crazy self, running through sprinklers and getting into mischief--she is such a hoot! The girls keep us laughing everyday. I just love it!!!
There is a brief update.....will try to post some pictures soon.

Transitions
Most of you know that I started my own business about 5 months ago. In the company that I am a part of, there is a program called Transitions. It is a healthy lifestyle class. I have some family members that are doing it with me. It is a 12 week program that is designed to teach people how to eat healthy, read food labels, learn about nutrition, and the best part......loose weight, inches and body fat!!!! So, tonight was our first class. It was awesome! We got weighed, measured, body fat etc.....and took "before" pictures. This first week they say is the hardest...."Detox week". We will be doing a liver and colon cleanse as well as a strict vegetable/fruit cleanse. They say you can experience a couple days of tiredness, headaches, irritability etc from your body detoxing. Then toward the end of the week, you will feel great! I am nervous and excited for detox week. Bob has agreed to do it with me, so it will be nice to have encouragement at home. I have our fridge stocked with fresh fruits and veggies, and I have THREE bowls full of fruit on the counter. I have fruit and veggies all washed and ready to eat. Should be interesting.....
I will keep you posted on my progress. Wish me luck!!! :)

Ag Day
Today was Ag Day at the community center in the city next-door. So, I took the girls and we met my sister-in-law and Tayva and Siri's cousins. They had SO much fun! They got to see a sheep shearing, pet lots of animals (chickens, rabbits, goats, sheep and lamb, donkey, cows, horses, llama--we didn't pet the llama :), chicks, ducks), and watched a puppet show. Tayva and Siri had so much fun. The chicks were the highlight for the kids because they could hold them. Tayva dove right in--she stuck her hands in the warmer, and grabbed one, she showed it to Siri so she could pet it too. I think Tayva held 20 different chicks over the course of our visit. Siri loved the animals and petting them just as much as Tayva.
Now the only problem is explaining to Tayva why we don't have all these animals at our house. She so badly wants some pet animals--she would love to live on a farm!

Welcome to our Tea Party!!
Well, today we had a tea party at our house. We pretended this morning, then we decided to use the tea set for lunch as well. We had slice strawberries and melted chocolate for dessert. Perfect for three princesses, huh?? We had SO much fun!
